Your contributions have helped The Calais School develop an Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) Program designed to help children with serious learning disabilities and socialization challenges to learn, grow, and feel empowered.
Currently our AAI dogs facilitate occupational therapy, counseling, speech & reading, and socialskills building. To date we have seen major breakthroughs in student motivation, compliance and participation during therapeutic sessions.
